Saiga (3)  vs. Indri (6):

It’s mating season, and the male Saiga uses loud snorts and roars to scare off rivals and impress females. Saigas live on the cold grasslands of Kazakhstan, and their thick winter fur helps keep them warm. They eat watery plants, so they don’t need to drink often.

Far away in Madagascar, an indri is also busy eating—but she’s munching on soil! Scientists think this helps her stomach handle toxins from leafy foods. Suddenly, she is magically dropped onto the open grasslands, surrounded by a herd of strange, snouty animals.

Startled, the saiga snorts and jumps in surprise. The indri, nervous without trees and missing her group, calls out with loud vocal sounds. When no one answers, she leaps high into the air, trying to spot a forest that isn’t there.

In the wide, treeless steppe, the saiga is right at home—and Saiga outlasts the Indri! Saiga Wins!!
