Meet Our Innovation Fellows

The Innovation Hub serves nearly 1,000 middle school students in Charlottesville. This is made possible by a team of dedicated secondary teachers, selected through a competitive application process, who participate in the instructional design and research processes of the Innovation Hub.

Our 2026-27 Fellows:

• Design and implement at least 2 community-engaged, computationally-rich, project-based-learning (PBL) experiences in their classroom during the school year

• Serve as teacher-leaders supporting the implementation of PBLs in their peers’ classrooms

• Participate in a rigorous year-long professional learning cohort, becoming experts in community engagement and PBL design.
